WHEN TO ARRANGE: Arrange your photoshoot before Bub arrives
I recommend that you organize your session while you are still pregnant so I can pencil in your due date.
I prefer to photograph babies 7 to 10 days old because they are very sleepy and curly at this age it is much easier to get those ‘squishy’ images.
Please give me a call to schedule your shoot so I can record your due date.
Please let me know at your earliest convenience once the baby arrives, so we can then arrange your session time.
WHAT TO EXPECT: The sessions take approx. 2-3 hours
Please allow 2-3 hours as much depends on how sleepy or hungry the baby is feeling.
I have your babies best interests at heart.
WHAT TO BRING: All you need to bring with you is your beautiful new baby
I have a selection of styling props to choose from,
I have hundreds of wraps, layers, bonnets, headbands, outfits, studio props such as bowls, beds, flower baskets, buckets
which are all supplied by me.
These props have been sourced in the Brisbane and the Gold Coast area or made by myself or my husband and are ideal for your babies first portrait session.
MAKE BABY COMFORTABLE: Here are a few of my tips
Feed-In readiness for your session on the day just before you leave
Dress – I recommend you dress baby in a jumpsuit without a singlet
I find that a full belly and a drive in the car means babies will be content,
happy and fast asleep when they arrive for their first photo session.
The sleepier the baby is the best chance we have of capturing their fuzzy soft skin, tiny fingers and toes, little pink lips, dreamy, peaceful sleeping images.
Please know that your precious little one is in loving and experienced hands.
I would love the opportunity to help create lifetime memories for your family.
I look forward to meeting you and your precious new baby.
